The Jelly Cactus vase hand-built by Elizabeth Lewis is stoneware clay fired to earthenware temperature for colour and texture. 

All matte surfaces including bases gave been treated with liquid quartz to create a waterproof protective barrier, meaning that it is functional as a vase.
