Digby Cakes is coming to Windflower for a kaleidoscopic workshop!

When it comes to colour and texture in the cake world, Louie Digby is a master. 

Learn how to make your own technicolour frosting, and Louie’s favourite piping techniques to decorate your very own cake. Have your cake and eat it too!

You’ll come away with skills to;

  • Dazzle your friends on their next birthday.
  • Insult your enemies in frosting.
  • Write a love letter in shag pile icing.

Time: 3pm - 5pm 

What you get: 

  • One cake (chocolate with vanilla cream cheese frosting) with a box for you to take away with you.
  • Louie’s own cake decorating info booklet to jog your memory later.
  • All tools and materials provided to create your own frosty masterpiece on the day.


About Louie: While living in London Louie worked at an East London bakery to gain experience in the bakery world. Upon moving back to Melbourne in October 2021 Digby Cakes was launched - which quickly became her full time gig. After receiving so many orders the day she launched her business, she quit her day job to pursue piping full time and hasn't looked back.

Louie's nostalgic colour palettes and lush textures turned out to be a perfect antidote for Melbourne’s lockdown blues. Now working full time creating cakes for all occasions out of an appointment only store front in Mckinnon, Victoria.


We recommend setting aside 2 hours for this workshop. An email will be sent in the week prior to the workshop with all the details you need for parking and arrival on the day.
